When will luggage tags arrive in the mail?

We leave Jan 19 for 1 week in Disney World followed by a 7 night cruise. We haven't received our luggage tags for either trip. When did you receive yours?

We received ours 25 days before our trip. I would call.

We received ours a little less than 2 weeks prior to the trip.

You probably should have received them by now but the rotating strikes and holidays likely delayed some mail. I only got a couple flyers in the mail the past two weeks. Nothing actually sent to me specifically.

My understanding is you don't need them, if you don't get them you can give your bag check tickets to the Magic Express and they will still be able to collect your bags. Or of course pick them up yourself. Though that is much less magical.

We arrive at WDW on Jan 15 and only just got our tags in the middle of last week. Definitely phone. They can tell you if and when they were sent. When I phoned about ours, they said they were sent Dec 5 but the postmark was Dec 12.

For previous trips, we've received them from 10 months out (the week after we booked) to the usual 2 weeks before arrival .

Forgot to add - if you used a US based travel agent the mailing address is sometimes changed to theirs so you'd want to make sure it's correct in MDE as well. So yes, I agree with the call and check

We're leaving January 23 and we got ours before Christmas!

Last time we flew we didn’t get them.. no worries.. just went to the magical express check in and have them out info (name/flight/reservation) and sure enough they showed up at our resort
