When will I see my resale points?

I closed on a resale contract last week and I was very excited to see the contract listed on the DVC web site. I called to extend my existing reservation and they can't see the points yet. What I didn't realize was that the number of points in the contract are listed, but none have been allocated to the use years yet.

If the contract was just made visible on the site today, any clue as to when I should expect to see the points available?

Should only take a couple of days. The points are loaded by a different team.

Whew! The cast member I spoke with earlier said it could be up to another two weeks! I was hoping that that would be the WORST case scenario.

It should be 48 hours at most. If you purchased from The Timeshare Store, Inc.® and run into any problems please let us know.

Thanks, Jason. Yes, I did buy from TTS, so I will have an eagle-eye on my account for the next two days! I was very happy with my TTS experience -- thanks to everyone there -- I wouldn't hesitate to do business with you again in the future.
 
What day did you close last week? Just curious b/c we just closed Monday and I'm trying to figure out when to call to see if my pts are in the system (we're currently non-members).
 
I'm seeing the same thing... the contract is there, but the points aren't. Sounds like a Mickey Mouse Operation to me! :rotfl:

We closed last Thursday, exactly one week ago. I know they say 7-10 days, but since I saw the contract listed, I'm anxious to get the points in there so that I can extend my Spring 2011 reservation.
 
Still can't see my points. Scott from TTS called Disney and they promised to have them posted by the end of the day. Nothing yet. I wonder if that group works over the weekend. I want to extend my Spring break trip, but I need those points to do it! If I lose out on the reservation I want, I'm going to be verrrrry upset.....

Unfortunately Disney isn't in a hurry to post resale points, direct buy points are processed first. There can be an additional delay if CM's are on vacation.

I'm running into the same problem. We got the email on Tuesday 5/25 that we closed, it shows my contract, but not the points. Uuuuugh, I wanted a Christmas ressie, but now the price of flights just went up $30 per person within this week while I've been waiting. Please Mickey, Please enter my points into the system:wizard: I beg of you, please :worship: before the prices go up some more.
 
I don't think member accounting works weekends, and they will be closed for the holiday on Monday.
 
I just called Member Services because I still don't see my points. Grrrrr!!!
The CM was so nice -- she put me on hold for a few minutes and my points magically appeared! I was able to bank the 2009 points and extend my April 2011 vacation next year to 10 days in a BCV studio!

That is so funny. I called MS and they did not see my points earlier this week. MY CM was not as nice. I went away yesterday and when I returned home today my points were there! Yeah!!! My flight prices went up $30 per person for Christmas, so I decided to stay at the THV at the end of January, instead!!! Yeah! Must be the people entering the points in the system do work on holiday weekends. Thank you whomever you are, I appreciate it!!!
