Well we're just back from an amazing time in orlando and feeling a bit sad- especially as it's probably my last for a while. Thinking of a couple of days in DLP over a weekend sometime in the run up to christmas. It'll have to be a weekend because my sister teaches and she wants to come along.

Firstly: how much busier are the parks at wknds? We've been before in january and it was , but blue skies and empty so we were more than happy.

Second: When do the christmas celebrations begin?

Christmas celebrations begin on 10th November. While weekends are busy an early park arrival can make up of it and ensure you get on the major rides.

We went at the start of Christmas in 2004 and found the weekends not to bad, but then we had the benefit of weekdays.
If I only had weekends to go then this time of year would be my choice

If you are going for a weekend I would reccomend you go in november not december as the weekends in december are really busy.
The xmas season is really lovely and you will have a great time.
