Is this the correct plan?
We have room-only reservations for Feb 2008. I know package rates will come out soon. When they do, I will price the package. But there's no reason to book the package then, right?
I should monitor for specials, AAA discounts, etc, and book when I find something less than the original package price. Then if I find a better deal later on, I rebook. If however, there is never any sale, I can always book the original package price up to the last minute?
Related question: if I book through AAA and find a better non-AAA deal, can I cancel the AAA deal and keep the room I reserved (CR w/ Mk view) or do I have to stay through AAA or give up my room?
Thanks!
