We're planning (should I say hoping) to go to WDW the first week of January 2006. Do we need to book soon?

I'd heard that the resort is not nearly as busy at that time of year, so I thought we might have plenty of time to decide. But now I'm wondering if we'll need to book it as soon as possible.

We were planning on arriving January 1st or 2nd. It'll just be my husband and I, and we haven't yet decided on a resort. Will the resort choice make a difference?

Thanks!

I think the 1st and 2nd are still busy from the holiday rush. Can't hurt to call as soon as you know for sure.

Me, personally I have issues when it comes to my Disney vacation ;) And I would book as soon as I know my dates!!

I book as soon as I know my dates. Last year, I booked 9 months in advance. This year (planning for October), I haven't booked yet because I don't know the dates or even if I'm going at all.

So we should probably choose a resort and book soon? We can't book until we choose a resort, correct?

Yeah because they are going to ask where you want to stay.

We have gone Jan 2 in the past. If I were you I would not go down on New Years. Wait a day and you will be fine. I booked it late November, so don't worry about needing to get it done right now.
