On our first day in Florida we have an ADR for 4:00 for Hoop Dee Doo. We're not going to a park that day. Instead, we'd like to go to Fort Wilderness early and rent a pontoon boat for maybe 1.5-2 hours. I know the rental shop runs from 11-5.
So my first question is: staying at Glenbrook Resort (8 miles to gate) how long should we plan on driving to Fort Wilderness, getting to the rental area, getting our boat etc...? I'm assuming an hour?
We have will-call tickets, so I'm assuming we need to be At HDDR by 3:30.
Factoring in the summer (end of June) heat and chance of rain, what time should we plan on being on the water, in the boat? Would 12:00 or 1 be early enough? Likewise, we don't want to have "too much" time in bewteen the boat ride and the HDDR.
