Ok it's 14 days to go and our tickets haven't arrived yet! Should I be panicking yet? I'm also starting to get the jeebies that something is going to go wrong with my plans. It's DP's first ever trip abroad, and as I've arranged everything I want it to go smoothly. I know you can't predict the unexpected, but have I covered everything?

Booked holiday and paid for it!
Got park tickets.
Passports.
Money changed.
Got train tickets.
Itinerary spot on!
Print out's for all bus/i-ride timetables (we're not hiring a car)
Taxi numbers (thanx to Brits Guide)
Confirmation details for MVMCP and PS.
Clothes washed and ironed.
'Remember' list made up.
Camera's at the ready.

Anything else????:listen:

"Anything else?"

Calm down!

You've done all you can. It will work out. And if it doesn't then it's not your fault anyway and you should make the best of any situation you find youselves in.

You may think that this is flippant advice, but it has served me well....... Take it easy and *enjoy the whole experience*.

I echo k-herm's advice. I am a compulsive planner, but there does come a point when you have to say "I can do no more". Try to use your plan as a guide rather than a military operation otherwise you'll find you miss out on so much of the ambience & subtle theming that make it an experience & not just a theme park with rides. Regarding tickets, I wouldn't panic until a week out, most companies do not send them until 2 weeks before so they will probably drop onto your door mat tomorrow.

Have you photocopied the backs of your park passes? It's handy to have this in case you lose your passes. Disney/Universal will usually provide new passes for you if you can show proof of the originals.
Keep the copies separate from the originals though!

Have a great trip!

Celestine you were spot on! My tickets arrived today. Yippee!:jumping1:

You are all right, everyone at work is telling me to chill out too! I don't want it to be a military operation either, so I'm just gonna go with the flow and enjoy myself!

And thanks also to Latte Lover (ME TOO!). That's a really great idea to photocopy the park passes. I'll make sure I do that!

Sunshine state here we come......................:sunny:

Yay! Now you can get really excited about your trip! ;)

When you photocopy your park passes, you could also make a copy of the details page of your passports to keep somewhere safe just in case you ever lose the originals. It may seem obsessive, but it would help to speed things up if you needed replacements. :)
