Ok so I've been looking at all the cool baskets and items that you can purchase from Disney Floral and have sent to the rooms. There are several I would love to order and have sitting in the room when we get back after the wedding is all over. Has anyone ever done this? What was your experiance? And does Disney put anything in your room the night of your wedding? Any surprises? I was also thinking of sending one of the Beer Pirate baskets to my DF the morning of the wedding, any thoughts? Thanks for the help!

We received baskets the day of our wedding that included champagne flutes & snacks. I sent a basket to our room with our favorite champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in a basket that was waiting when we returned.
I also had one sent the next morning with beach towels, suntan lotion and a golf shirt to get ready for the next part of our adventure a Caribbean cruise that we took following our WDW wedding. (We spent 4 days prior to the wedding in WDW, 3 days after and then drove to Fort Lauderdale for a week cruise).

a very special group of friends sent us a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon night and it was fantastic! i've heard that disney floral sends arrangements to rooms sometimes, but i didn't have that happen.

all in all, i think it's a great idea to have something waiting. at the end of the wedding it's like, "it's over?" and it's a weird feeling, so anything to distract from the weirdness is good. hth, just my opinion!

The basket with the champagne , flutes and snacks, did anyone send that to you or did Disney just provide it? Also who did you contect for the other baskets, and the chocolate covered strawberries?

It wasn't for our wedding or anything, but df and I went to wdw in dec the week of Christmas and on Christmas eve he had a basket delivered to the room for me. It was proclaim her a princess basket I think its called. There was a tiara in there, a ring bearer pillow and a glass slipper to sit on the pillow, champagne and champagne flutes. Also a certificate that proclaimed me a princess and was framed and signed by cinderella. He also had rose petals spread all over the place. These baskets are really nice and i highly recommend ordering one from disney florists! hth:goodvibes

Someone sent it to us......Disney didn't send anything.

I am planning on doing this for my soon to be husband...we don:banana: drink champagne so I will be buying a really cool basket with pirates and with beer and pretzels in it for my husband to be. I think he will be really happy..All the baskets that I have sent in the past with my parents have been beautiful and well worth the money. :) They are also great people to deal with. :)
this is the pic of it. :)

I thought about doing this but it is expensive for some of the stuff. All we had in our room was all the floral from our wedding so I decorated the room it was nice.

We were very surprised to receive a nice little floral arrangement compliments of our Disney Floral contact, considering we nickel-and-dimed her to death during the planning process!

And did anybody else see the title of this thread and think it was going to be about something a little more racy than floral arrangements...?:rotfl:

Nope - just you, Carrie! (ya perv!)

The rest of us are as pure as the driven snow!

And hey - don't insinuate that my driven snow has tire tracks from SUVs, 18 wheelers, mini vans, hybrids, and the occasional roadster!
