When is your usual first full day at WDW.

Just trying to get a feel for arrival trends. What day is usually your first "full" day at WDW? Meaning your first full day at the parks.

Don't count you arrival day as your first "full" day UNLESS you usually enter a park before 12 Noon.

For us on 20 + trips

We typically fly in on the last flight out on Friday night, stay some where less expensive then check into our DVC unit early Saturday morning. Then hit our first park mid Saturday morning.

I can't take Monday off from work cuz I do the payroll so I usually drive up Tuesday afternoon and our first full park day is Wednesday.

Interesting question. Most of our trips have had Sunday as the 1st park day.

I couldn't vote because it has been different every trip. the first year, it was on a Monday. The second year it was on a Thursday. Last year it was on a Tuesday. This year it will be on a Friday. We're already looking at next year, and it looks like the first full day will be a Sunday!

I couldn't vote, either. Every year
( December ) it is different, and not intentionally.

However, every year I get to a park just about noon on my arrival day.

In this coming early Dec. I will arrive on a Friday, and I will probably choose Epcot because of the longer hours. I hope to enter Epcot by noon or 1 pm.

We drive down so we arrive late on Sunday and Monday is our first day in the parks.

We drive, leaving Saturday morning, and getting there Sunday, mid afternoon. Last trip, we used up a PHP day by going to MK in the afternoon (Hubby's idea, and I tried to tell him it was not a good one) Never again! We went on 3 attractions, that's all! What a waste of a day on our pass.

This year, we'll all have APs, so it won't hurt to go late to a park (but not MK, most likely EPCOT) but we'll be reafy for EMH on Monday!

We arrived early Sat. evening, spent the hours until bedtime unpacking and showering. Our first day in the parks was Sunday, Animal Kingdom. For our next visit, I'm working a similar schedule. My intention is to be at the other Orlando parks for the beginning of the week (Sun-Tue), then I hope to check in at WDW after the day spent at AK.

This is our first trip, but our first full day will be Saturday. We arrive the day before at around 6:00 p.m. and will be staying off site near the airport so that the next day we can start fresh and early.

Well, if this poll reflects typical guest trends, now I know why Sunday EMH at the MK is more crowded than Thursdays.

Generally we've always done MK on Monday, but this year we are on Wednesday due to a different schedule because my daughter is starting kindergarten.
