We could go either the first two weeks of June or first two weeks of August to Disney next year. According to Weather.com Aug has less rain than June but maybe this depends on what time in June/August. Has anyone lived in Florida or visited the parks at both times know? Also which time has the least crowds?

Thanks Tigger

I have been there both in June and August. I felt the crowd level to be the same both times of the year and the humidity is comparable also. As far as rain goes, it is hard to predict, you just take your chance with that one. There are many schools still in session in June so if I had to pick between the two I would go with June. Ideally I would go in November or December though. That happens to be my favorite time there.

Go when it is best for you. Don't try to match FL weather to your vacation you will only be disapointed. The weather has a complete mind of it's own it is almost unpredictable and when it is predicted it is wrong 50% of the time.
Just go when it is your time to have fun. :earboy2:

It's the second day of June and it's rained here for two days. Heavy thunder clapping, lightening striking rain. June is rainy. (historically) In June it can rain all day or just morning or afternoon. The locals were all ready beginning discussions of "how humid it is" last week. But I know the humidity just gets worse as the summer progresses and peaks in late Sept. So August is pretty humid. As far as August rain, well the high humidity usually brings those afternoon downpours. Sometimes they past very quickly.

"Historically" in June the rain will come through very early in the day and could pass by 10 am. August the rain generally hits in the afternoon and passes by evening. It's humid in June but nothing like the killer humidity in August. If I were choosing June or August based on weather, I would chose June.

As far as crowds, well anytime school is out you can count on crowds at Disney. I have been in both months and feel August is less crowded. Just because it's soooo.....hot and school is about to begin.

I think being able to predict it WILL rain in June and August is easier than predicting how long and how much. I can remember months in June were it rained everyday, all day for a week. I can remember the same in August.

I agree with everyone. We love May and October. We have vacationed in August, September, October, November, December, February, April and May. We have decided to visit June 9-12 b/c of last minute surprise for our boys. They adore Star Wars and we want to hit the last Star Wars weekend. I am not worried. I love it when it rains because the parks are empty and it feels good when you are hot. I personally do not like to go in the cold weather months (Nov-February) because of the sickness issue. My kids usually are sick or end up sick and people are hacking all over the park we all end up sick after the vacation. Just go when you feel like it. One time we went in late May for nine days and guess what? It didn't rain the whole time! But the temps were in the high 90's all week. We've also been in August when it was rainy/misty and cool and the parks were somewhat empty. It's the luck of the draw. Go when you want to and have a wonderful time!

We have been twice in June and once inn August-in our case August was definitely more humid. Now we are hoping to keep going in May-what a great time!
