When is the Christmas Parade filming?

Does anyone know when the parade at MK will be filmed? We are staying at OKW and would love to avoid MK on that day...too much crazy for us. Thanks

I've heard December 6, not sure if that is official.

The filming usually takes place toher places than just MK though. While the parade is filmed there, the other excerpts are filmed all around WDW. We have been in on it several times, and it really doesn't cause too much trouble. The interesting thing is how the Christmas tree moves overnight from next to the castle to in front of the train station. I figure they must fly it over mainstreet!
