When is the best time?

to go to HH? How about VB?

It will be our first time and we are excited!

I go with offseason all 3 months - Sept, Oct & nov - should still be warm (if not hot - Sept) at VB.

HH - jan & dec can get cold... so can feb, march, nov.

although I have been in Dec and still went swimming... I would think with the temperatures this year you might.

We went to VB at the beginning of March, and it was too cold to enjoy the ocean. We went to HH at the end of August, and it was great.
