Hello :teeth:

I am wondering if you guys can help my fiancé and I out _again_ :) We were thinking of moving our wedding date to either September or October. Can you please tell me what to expect weather wise and when you would personally go.. This is for our wedding/honeymoon we have never been to WDW :)

September we were thing the 9-16
October we were thinking the middle of the month
Halloween is my favorite holiday and hopefully just maybe we can catch MNSSHP?! :))

Thank you in advance for everyone's help! I truly appreciate it!! :beach:

Either one of those would be good, but there's a con to each. Sept will still have the summer daily afternoon downpour, and Oct is during Food and Wine so if you're going to Epcot there will be increased crowds. You'll be able to go to the halloween party with either of those time frames, and I highly recommend it!

september will have lower crowds, but higher humidity & love bugs

october has MNSSHP and F&W, larger crowds & no bugs!

we prefer october for F&W!

We love 2nd week of November and early Dec. Great weather, low crowds, and can usually get the free dining plan...plus the Christmas decorations and parties are awesome.

Thank you so much!! @ jennily122, Suzimar57, and the gimpy goat!

Im leaning towards October, but a room discount of 30% is offered the last few weeks of September to early October.. It might be worth it to go then? Saving money is always good!

I will say that late Sept is a GREAT time. That was the least crowds I've ever experienced. I remember one morning at rope drop, we were literally alone walking past Haunted Mansion.

If you pick October, avoid Columbus Day weekend.

Wow!! Thank you so much, that is so helpful I really appreciate it! :) Would you say it rains a lot, towards the end of the month... I don't mind if it rains we don't get enough rain here in So-cal but it would be nice to understand what were getting into and what to pack :)

It ALWAYS rains in Orlando, but saying that, it's never effected our vacation. The showers are usually scattered. My wife always packs several super cheap ponchos. The light rains feel good and are appreciated.

As a 13 year resident of Disney (Celebration) I would choose the last week of September or 1st week of October. Happy planning, and congratulations!

Thank you so much!! :). Everyone on here is so nice and helpful. Truly a wealth of information!

I believe that's exactly when we're going!! After everyone's suggestions and great feed back :)

September is nearly always very, very hot and humid. And it's definitely rainy season (hurricane season, actually!) but the rain often comes in brief showers, usually in the afternoon. But the trade-off is the low crowds!

October can be a mixed bag, weather-wise. I've been on several October trips, and have experienced everything from pleasant weather (80s and not to humid) to surface-of-the-sun hot and high humidity (mid to upper 90s almost every day). I've also experienced brief rain showers, longer rain showers (lasting a few hours), and even a hurricane in 2005! October also has the Food and Wine Festival and the Halloween party, which are fun events. As long as you avoid the weekends for F&W (and just go during the week), it's super-fun and not crowded. October crowds are pretty reasonable, usually around a "five" on a one-to-ten scale for the most part.

So if you're after really low crowds and don't mind high temps and humidity, you can pick September. If you'd prefer a chance at better weather but don't mind a few more crowds, shoot for October.

[This is just me, but I'd pick October! I don't do as well in the really hot weather of September. Just try to avoid Columbus Day week in October, since it's a little more crowded.]

What about the weather in November, close to Thanksgiving? Is it similar to October? Does it rain a lot?
