When is Spring Break?

How crowded do you think Disneyworld will be the week of March 27, 2010 to April 2, 2010? Is this spring break for a lot of states? Our parish has Easter break at this time, but the surrounding parishes do not have this week off, only good friday and they have another week in April for spring break instead.... just wondering what to expect as far as crowds at Disney will be at this time of year.

Our spring break is the week before. I'm hoping it won't be busy but I'm expecting a big crowd!

Just about every school in the County where I work in New York has the week off..over on the theme park boards there was a poll a while back about what weeks kids will have off...http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2289468

in my case we have two weeks off ... a week in february and a march/april week

We went last year during our spring break in March, and it wasn't around Easter. That was the most crowded we had ever seen it--including in the summer. We had fun, but are choosing June over spring break this year because of those crowds.

For central Florida we get a lot of visitors from the end of February to the beginning of April due all the spring breaks from around the country. It's busy.

We went last year during our spring break in March, and it wasn't around Easter. That was the most crowded we had ever seen it--including in the summer. We had fun, but are choosing June over spring break this year because of those crowds.

That's exactly what I was afraid of. My parents are making their first visit in mid-March. They're close to 80 yo, and I'm so afraid they'll just be overwhelmed, plus DM is a late sleeper, while DF is the "early to bed, early to rise" type. But I couldn't convince them to pick another week. BTW, lots of colleges in MA are off 3/14-3/19.
