When is latest you can add dining?

I just spoke to a reservation cast member who said I can add it just 1 day before arrival!
Is that correct? I thought it had to be at least 3 days.

Unless something has changed very recently, it is 72 hrs before arrival. CMs on the phone don't always have the correct information.

It's 48 hours before arrival for DVC reservations, or 72 hours for all others.
