When is It Too Hot?

We visit in three seasons each year (December, March and July or August). Summer is clearly the most challenging because there are thunderstorms or chance of storms almost every day, so it's tough to plan. Don't mind the heat so much...we just adjust what we do with this taken into consideration. March is probably my favorite because it is usually warm to hot and very rarely rains on our March visits. December is great, but can be very cool and require a jacket at night.

November to March is our preferred time. We've been in early May and it was pretty hot. My husband would never even consider going between June and September, so that time is out. We haven't been in October yet, but I'd like to try a visit then.

Our first trip was in October 2019 and it was boiling! We leave for our second in a couple of days - and the forecast looks pretty similar to that hot October weather, but with more rain. Might have to try a Jan/Feb trip next!
