When is Best for Coach Bags?

Hello all,

I have some birthday money burning a hole in my pocket and have decided to head to the outlets to check out a Coach bag since I have always just gotten $20 bags at Ross I thought it was time to treat myself. The question for the lovely budget groupies is when is the best time? I am in no rush so I was wondering if I would get a better deal on Black Friday or right after Christmas?

Any hints would be greatly appreciated!!!

Def. should be great specials on the outlet purses after Turkey Day. (For the boutique purses, never.)

Personally, I've always found great deals at the Coach outlets and it wasn't any special time of the year. I have never been during Black Friday. I read on another thread that someone else did run into some great deals. Either way, the outlets are awesome.

off season bags are the best discount at the coach outlets...any time of year.

The best sales I have seen are the marked down that are then another 50% off....so total of about 70% off...they are the ones to look for!! For example, I recently got a $218 bag for $60...

On a deals board that I frequent they are saying that the outlet stores are offering 50% off clearance prices right now.

Also, it is rumored that the clearance will be an additional 50% off on Black Friday, plus they'll be handing out 10% off entire purchase coupons.

I was just at the outlets in PA the last weekend in Oct. I got my DD's a small patchwork bag that was like $170 in the store for $60 . I have to say they had great deals and NO BODY was in there shopping . I have never seen the outlets so dead.

You will never get a deal on a bag in the regular store . Unless you get their coupons . I get them once in a whille and they are either $50 off a $150 purchase or 25% off . Of my own free will I have gotten two coupons in the mail in the past 6 months and haven't used them . I am not going to spen the money on a bag right now that I don't really need. ... I already have almost one in every coach color .. The ladies at school have a woman that sells knockoffs and even she knows not to ask they call me the Coach Lady . ...

Good luck .. My advice get a black leather bag or a brown one and use it all year round.

I agree with PPs, the only deals that Coach has are at their outlets.

I've have gotten several (small) Coach bags on clearance at department stores (Macy's, Neiman Marcus) the day after Christmas. But my big ones I got for 50% off at Coach outlets. No particular time of the year.

Hello all
I have done very well on the day after Xmas in the Coach Dept. of Macy's. 2 years ago I got a large tote for 40% off, and then the clerk scanned a coupon worth an additional 10% off. Weirdly enough the fine print on the coupon said it was not valid on Coach/Dooney/MK etc but, it worked! I even did it again last year and saved a total of 60% on the bag I had been stalking for months. Believe me, that's where I'll be on 12/26 @ 8 A.M this year Happy Shopping !!!!!!
