I would have been really impressed if you'd caught the monorail.

If I had a few drinks I might have tried to swim it.

That's ok. It's still kinda cool to see the "secret" areas.

It is fun to see how close everything is to everything else. Kinda weird too.

Holy crowds Batman!

I'm sure they know that if you do move, someone else will just snag that spot, and then you're in worse shape as far as seeing the fireworks. Still, nice try, CM's.

They were just trying to really enforce the walkways. They had tape for the "standing" and loading and unloading areas.

Great pictures! Good thing you didn't move along.

I was just inside the tape- and I made a new friend in the process.

That CM was hilarious!

Whew, that was some crowds at MK. I have never been in the back areas to just get around Main Street. Very neat.

I have been backstage a few times. Kinds freaky but interesting.
That poor CM was doing her darndest to enforce the walkway areas but there was no hope.

After Seeing Wishes with the hilarious CM who was losing her voice trying to keep a walkway clear,I walked back towards the Jungle cruise. As folks gathered ( we had Memom and Jill and Bella and Brooklynn, Cara (mom of 2TNboys) with her husband and boys, Elena(UNCW89) and Anita & Marc ( wigd and WUshocker. Who else did we have? Boat for 12?
Anita was having some trouble clearing Barney Fife at the Contemporary. So while we waited the kids all played.


I never got a picture of all of us but I know one was taken. Who has that picture? Anita, Caren?

This is only one that is somewhat Ok. And even that is horrible.

We went through the FP line and were put in a boat with Amanda. Amanda was a good skipper and made several jokes about going to be a teacher.
The old joke- My Parents are so proud.... 6 years of school to get a masters degree in education and here I am driving a jungle cruise boat.

Funny, she had no idea we had teachers on board.

We got a group picture after – But.....

Afterwards, we could hear the treehouse calling. We made the trek and got the view.

Here is where Bella dropped her mingo. Anita had just given her a flamingo and Bella did not want to part with it. While we were up in the treehouse, I heard a clunk, clunk. Most of us thought Jill had dropped her phone but it was the mingo instead. I heard no splash so I was holding out hope that the mingo could be found.

I guess I took this to see if we could see it in the picture.

After that someof us when back to their rooms. Elena, Marc, Anita and I head to Main street. Anita was looking at ( and buying ) charms for her Pandora bracelet. The MSEP was going by for the second time so Main Street was a mess again.

We ventured to Monsters Inc and then Anita and Marc called it a night. Elena and I walked around for a bit and then decided to catch the NYE fireworks in the hub. We were able to get a spot right in the hub right inside the tape. But wait it wasn't NYE.


It was the "practice" NYE eve fireworks that we would be watching the next night. So watching it twice and from Mainstreet in the hub and then again from the Poly.

I was determined to get Tinkerbell so I tried again.

Well at least I am getting better.

After fireworks Elena called it a night. I followed suit since I knew I wanted to be out late the next night. I made it back to the room around 12:30am.

Next up FINALLY NYE.

By the way I am a BIG fan of the Peach Snap in China. I get at least one every trip. I find them very filling though. I usually cannot eat anything for a few hours after having one.

Chris has already said to me - I like to go ....just not ALL the time. He needs to have "something new" to do . This trip SW was new but it failed to impress.

The New Sorcerers game in MK has him intrigued but I fear it will be met with the same attitude as Kim possible.

Mingo overboard was quite the trauma for poor Bella. I am sure an update on Mingo will happen on MeMom and Jills report when she get to that day.

They run fireworks the night before NYE and July 3rd. Since DHS and sometimes EPCOT also have shows it makes it easier to catch 2 shows.
