When does Spring Break end?

Family requested we do another WDW trip this Spring/Summer. We went in the middle of May this year and had really cooperative weather, parks weren't too crowded, and room rates weren't terrible. Even though it wasn't miserable, it was quite hot, so I was thinking about more of a spring trip for this year, but I definitely don't want to hit Spring Break crowds. When I was in school, Spring Break was always end of March or first week of April, but I know everywhere is different. For anyone with experience/maybe a local, when do the Spring Break crowds dissipate? Last week of April okay? Mid-April okay?

The worst of it is in the two weeks surrounding Easter. The farther you are from Easter, the better

I didn't answer for our local school because they for all purposes has a Spring and an Easter Break. Middle March and then days surrounding the Easter weekend.

In our state we don't have guaranteed things like Columbus, Veterans, or MLK off so the school district doesn't have any of those days as off.

That makes sense, I hadn't thought of that. Sounds like the last week in April may be the best option outside of just sticking to mid-May.

We went the end of May one year and it was so blazing saddles hot!!! It was like middle of summer and awful (for those who hate the heat/humidity)
Jan-April are the perfect times to go, but trying to avoid spring break crowds is much more difficult, as it seems to go on for 2 full months.

The weeks before and after Easter are very common. As is late March. Most schools are done with spring break by the final week in April.
