When does clock start ticking in APs purchased online and shipped to home?

I purchased APs for our trip and had them shipped to our house. We're in Orlando now at Disney and may not have time to make it over to US/IOA. When does the clock start ticking on the APs? Is it one year from the date of first use? Or one year from the date of purchase? HELP?!?!?

That's what I thought. Thanks for the confirmation and prompt response. I think we'll wait until next year and maybe the HP expansion will be complete and open for business.
