What month do you prefer to visit the world?? ~~and why?

We used to go in August, but our last trip was in November and we liked it better at that time. So November it is! :)

We prefer Dec. The first week is still a cheaper time to go and all of the Christmas decorations are up. We have gone at this time twice and are going againthis year.

I said February, although late August is also good. Both are value season. The first is my birthday, the last is nice and hot. If we alternate between the two, we can be @ WDW every 18 months.

Kungaloosh!
Morticia.

I voted for January... cant beat it for low crowds!! But I also love Thanksgiving week with all of the Christmas things you can do and see!

Let's see. We've been there in late Oct, early Nov, mid August, and mid Dec. Going late Nov this year. I think late Nov is going to be my favorite time. I love the holiday stuff going on and the weather is terrific. No hurricanes like in August and no humidity. Wish school wasn't such a problem tho.

I love visiting in November. The weather is perfect. And they usually have the Christmas lights/trees up when we go around Thanksgiving time.

I went with March...early March, before the spring breakers take over. I used to go the end of February (one weeks difference) because that is when my kids had their mid winter vacation. The beginning of March, so far, has offered the best weather, enjoyable crowd numbers (not to many...not to few) and everything seems to be up and running. Good times....!

I put October, which is ironic because I've never BEEN in Oct.

My first visit in 1983 was in November (I think, it was fall and cold so November would fit.) Since then, I've been in Nov. ('98) July ('00) and May ('03).

This what I think:

January/February: Too cold.
March, April: Too hard to get airline tickets
May, June, July August, September: Too hot/crowded.
October: Perfect weather, perfect crowds (except the festival at Epcot but you can't have everything in life!)
November/December: Too cold.

As you can see, temperature and crowds are a huge factor with me. While I will go when it is cold/cool with low crowds, I will not go when it is too hot, regardless of crowds. That's why I think October is a perfect mix of good weather and low crowds.

But, as you can see from my count down clock, I'm in fact going in December. Not for lack of trying, I wanted Oct. but Dec. was the only week my BF could get time off. Plus I've never seen WDW at Christmas, so the cooler temps will be more than made up for!

With school aged kids our choices are limited. I voted for April. It isn't that I love April, it's just that I prefer the weather in April over June, July, August - unless spring breaks happens to be Easter week the April (spring break) crowds are no worse than summer time.

Before we had kids our favorite time to vist was early October - great weather and light crowds. We also like the first week of May.

We go in early December when it's cooler and the decorations are up or in September, which I prefer because there are relatively low crowds (relative to summer) and it's still warm enough to swim. I also like having a few more people in the park than the way it is in Dec because it's more lively.

We just returned, and mid-Oct. rivals early Dec. for me. It was nice to have all of the pool time that we wanted, unlike early Dec. last year when it was just too cold. Park touring was better in Dec. as the crowds were lighter and last week was still bordering on "too hot" for me. MNSSHP and dressing up was very fun, and that along with MVMCP are highlights of the trip - I think we'll always try to go so that we can attend one of them. I would be very happy with either time. I guess if I had to pick one or the other, I would go with Dec. because of slightly lighter crowds and XMAS decorations over halloween activities and warmer temps. The Food & Wine did nothing for me, and in fact I think I'd rather not have had it going on as it made things too crowded around world showcase.

Because of my wifes vacation time, I can go at anytime, we are limited to the first three weeks of July, that's when we go. The weather is no different form where we live so that's not any problem for us. We usually go right after the 4th and stay 8-9 days. I realllllly like going then!

I really like mid-November. Its still warm enough to swim, no rain and crowds used to be fairly light.

I've only been once and it was in August. Going again in August 2005, so we can spend a longer time in Florida and DD(9) does not have to miss school.

We like to go in May but I would love to go in December sometime so we could see all the Christmas decorations.

Went in July last year, never again. We are now going Jan 1st of the coming year, one reason the rates go down that day, and 2, it won't be so darn hot and humid that time of year. We now plan to go back every year on Jan. 1st.
