When do you take your Christmas decorations down?

We usually take them down New Years Day but we are going to my mom's tomorrow so I took them all down today! The house is all clean again. I just miss the lights.......

They are down and in the boxes !! I know, crazy, but I can't relax until I get it done! Drives my family crazy. But heck, I put the tree up about 1 week before Thanksgiving!

The only thing we did this year was get a teeny tiny tree because of Mr Baby. I think I will put it away tom morrow.

Today or tomorrow ours will be down. Usually the first week of January sometime.

We have another week to go. Our decorations don't come down until Epiphany.

Mine are long gone. The only ones left are the outside ones, and Dh will get those down as soon as weather permits.

It has become a tradition of mine it seems to take down the tree Christmas Day! I just can't rest until my house is back to "normal". I do have to say it makes me smile when my friends are complaining about having to take down the decorations the day after New Year. I just sit back and smile.

Well....usually the weekend after New Years, but our tree FELL OVER!!! yesterday, so needless to say....we put the decorations up a little early.

I guess I'm the strange one here. We don't put our decorations away until the second week in January. The decorations came out right after Halloween, the tree up a week before Thanksgiving. Then we went to Disney World from the 3rd of December until the 22. So we haven't gotten our fill of it yet. In fact I just bought two more angels to put on the tree today. LOL

We'll start taking them down tomorrow...but we are in no rush! We probably won't finish until the weekend. I hate taking down all the decorations, the house always looks so plain afterwards.
