When do you start to pack

I was just wondering when do you start to pack for your trip? We have started to get the cases out and have begin to pack. We currently have 81 days till we leave this has been our usually and never have forgotten anything, knock on wood. We go Through the list of things that we have packed over and over again. sometimes I think we are obsessive about Disney.

Ummm...define "pack".

Our trip is in early December.

We started to pack odds and ends (sunscreen, laundry detergent, travel toiletrees, etc) back in June, as we found deals on stuff we knew we were going to use or need.

I'll be starting the "Warehouse Club snack hunt" within the next week or so....stuff like granola bars, fruit snacks and the like. We'll start to stock up our plastic "snack totes" for the car ride down.

We'll start packing clothes in mid to late October (the "summer" stuff like shorts and t-shirts) when there's little chance we'll need those clothes again around this neck of the woods.

That is what we have packed except we are flying.

It's 11pm Flight leaves in 8 hrs. I am just starting to pack.
 Looks like I will be sleeping on the flight down.
Hey I just thought of this maybe I should pack instead of reading the
disboards:rotfl2:

Well I am making lists of what I think we need to order from Garden Grocer for our trip in April. I won't pack clothing until 2 days before. though I will have to go shopping for the boy before the trip since all the summer clothes will not fit in 6 months when we go.

I told DD we would unload her drawers of summer clothing this weekend and put them in a bin and in the attic for our Disney trip and she was fine with that.

This is all part of my quest to become more organized.

I don't pack until a day or two ahead. I have a list so I don't forget things and I have an Owner's Locker so lots of stuff is already there. Our dog gets upset when he sees suitcases so we always wait as long as possible to pull the suitcases out.

That's funny. Our dogs do the same thing. They get that kind of hangdog look and start moping around. When it comes time to load the luggage into the car we have to keep them out of sight or they go nuts. For us the hardest part of being a WDW nut is leaving our "boys", especially since one is getting into his senior years and needs more attention. My DW comes close to tears every time.

BTW, packing isn't too much of a problem since we seem to never seem to completely unpack from the previous trip. We usually keep things like ponchos, toiletries, personal care items perpetually packed. Just the clothing changes depending on season.
