I don’t do a lot of Halloween specific decorating. I do keep a lot of Haunted Mansion things out year round, and add a few items between Labor Day and Halloween. I don’t have any fall themed decorations at all. We decorate for Christmas on Thanksgiving Day while watching the parade.

Aww - they need to make some big dog stuff!
I would've bought her the ghost hostess dog costume, but the XL is for 30-45 lb dogs. Mine are about 80 lbs. To me, a 45 lb dog would be medium. It's large dog discrimination.

The middle of October I'll decorate the windows. Although Halloween is my favorite holiday and I would have decor all over the house, it's not my house and my aunt only likes to go all out for Christmas.

Nope too early. I guess Disney wants to get started on Halloween parties but it's summer here. Cottages, lake life. Not even thinking about fall. School doesn't even start for close to a month yet why wish away summer holidays. That is silly
Just so you know, people can still decorate and continue to enjoy summer holidays. :)

Early September!! New England is known for our beautiful Fall season. I don't decorate for Halloween but Fall is my favorite.

.....now don't ask about Christmas :) that comes right after Halloween!:santa:

I put up some Fall-related decorations just after Labor Day. These things stay up until we put up Christmas stuff just after Thanksgiving.

I put up Halloween things in late September/early October. They come down in early November.

Well, that’s my point. Just because someone puts a couple of witch candle holders on the mantle, doesn’t mean they can’t or won’t continue to enjoy summer.
I understand that. I don't understand rushing the seasons.

I'm just answering the question from my perspective.

I just responded to you because you said it’s silly to wish your summer away. I was explaining that not everyone who enjoys Halloween decor is wishing their summer away.

Anyways….you mentioned not rushing the seasons. Do you think it’s too early to decorate for Christmas before December 21st? Just curious.
