I do it as soon as possible because it's fun for me.![]()
Set aside a LOT of time for online check-in. There are about 46 pages of terms and conditions that you must certify that you read. Checking in at the resort takes much less time.

over50visits, I took your message seriously... It must be the pixie dust since my checkout page was only 1 page and took me a minute to do so this morning....
To you all, thank you for your advice. I checked in this morning, just for "fun".![]()
I do both. I also love meeting the front desk staff but I still do online check in. I find they serve different purposes. Sure some overlap but mostly, I use online check in to enter room requests and time of arrival. I use stopping in person to meet the staff and maybe learn a few things about the resort I didn't know. Especially when it's a new resort to us. I also have them take a moment to be sure our MB are registered to open the doors. We no longer get new ones for each stay and sometimes our existing ones aren't linked to that stay correctly. If they aren't, they won't open the door.We always check in at the desk. That way we can find out about getting in earlier, finding suitable locations, etc.
Online check in has a spot to put in your arrival time. This is what I like about it. I always have my requests noted on my reservation. But we arrive early so having them know what time I'm planning on arriving I think increases my chance of getting a room early. We always check in at the desk. That way we can find out about getting in earlier, finding suitable locations, etc.
I don't read it, never even knew it was there! No problem...I bet lots of people don't read it. But the "1 page" contains links to other pages that you say you agree to, and they have links. Ends up about 46 pages you certify you've read and agree to. We just check in at the desk, partly to save time reading everything we have to sign that we read, but also we love interaction with CMs, and those at check in are universally friendly and get our visit off to a great start.
I don't read it nor do I care what it says. Not sure why I should. It's not like anything in it is going to change anything. I'm not going to cancel my trip or not agree to it. So why read it any way?I don't read it, never even knew it was there!
