when do they let you into the park? do they before hours are open?

Do they open the park on Main Street before the parks open and somehow gate off the lands? I heard somewhere that when the park opens that some people have already made it into Main Street to dash to the lands. Is this true or does the crowd stay OUT of the park AND main street until opening?

Okay, on a regular MK day, with a 9 AM opening, gates open to enter turnstiles around a quarter til. At this time, guests can gather in front of the Mickey floral to get ready for the morning show. However, if you have a CRT or CP breakfast reservation, those start @ 8:05 AM, so you could enter beforehand for that purpose.

Yep,the open up a few minutes and you will see this mad dash to the lands,only to be gated off there and then they make you wait for the official opening and then there off! It never suprises me to see so many people race only to wait again

hehe that sounds amusing... we tend to sleep in too long to witness the entertainment. I don't know what it is but for some reason we're always out late and don't get back to the resort till around 1AM. Needless to say we don't hit the morning rush not to mention any Morning magic hours.

How does it work on an EMH morning?

They let every with a hotel room card In side the gate area only and they let every one que up there(right before you go under the Train track) and then at 8am sharp they let every one In.It can be a track meet so If you not want to be ran over (like us) you want to stay off to the side,we take our time walking to the rides but we do not want to hold any one up. Have fun

At Epcot, once they have the official opening, the crowd has to follow the CM's ... they do not allow you to "run" to the attractions.

In fact, we always head for Soarin ... the ride operators are the ones that "Walk" ahead of the crowd to keep them walking instead of running. It seems to do the trick ... I've yet to see anyone trampled.
