I know when they arrive (we see them as we're leaving :wave2:) but when do they leave? Are they still there around August? Free Dining time? Just curious for future trip planning.

When do the brazilians leave?..I think that could have been worded a bit better. Everyone has a right to enjoy there vacation...even in groups like the Brazilians!!!...I think people should watch there word choices on the board if you care not to offend other people!

No matter what someone says or how they say it, there is always going to be someone else who takes offense because they took it the wrong way.It is so easy to do with message boards where you can't hear tone and inflections in voice. I don't think the op was doing anything but asking a simple question. JMO.;) I'd like to know the answer as well!

Does everyone have a right to enjoy their vacation at the expense of your own?

Could the OP have worded it better? Of course. Could the OP have worded it in such a way that it offended no one? Impossible.

Is it a valid concern? Obviously for the OP, it is.

not to highjack your thread or anything, but i was wondering when the pastey pale people with new sneakers, too tight denin shorts and cheap t-shirts from somewhere in the US will stop saving all their lives for a trip to disney to only show up to parks with fanny packs that have resort coffee mugs clipped to them pushing little kids just to get on peter pan 2 minutes faster. because THOSE PEOPLE really freak me out, scare the innocent children and can ruin anyone's trip -- especially their kids that they spend all day yelling at to "hurry up". dark, fit, good looking young people who have an affinity for green and yellow flip flops, not so much. :sad2:

The way this is written is pretty offensive. Would you ask the same of people with strollers, people in ECV's, etc? It sounds rather racist. Do they really bother you that much?

Yeah I agree...you can't be super-sensitive because everything is going to offend someone...

And no idea sorry....

I appreciate your opinion..but in my opinion I just believe the question could have been worded differently. It isn't a matter of the tone of the statement..I just feel as though the person is making it seem like "the Brazilians" are just a pain that need to go away so that they can enjoy their vacation!

Not when it infringes on my family trying to enjoy our vacation.

No one has the right to scream/chant at the very top of their lungs in groups of 100 while walking 2 feet behind you, no matter where they came from.

I'm Brazilian. I hope you're talking about the Brazilian tour groups, so.. Winter vacation here is 2-4 weeks in July, so by the end of July/beginning of August the teenagers tour groups are leaving WDW.

And I agree that "When do the brazilians leave?" was a bit rude. I know you are probably talking about the annoying teenagers groups, but you could have made it more clear. Not all brazilians are like the ones you see in WDW!!

Not that anyone asked, but I went to WDW for my 15th birthday, in one of those groups, and it was nothing like I see you guys talking about here. We walked around in a big group in the morning, then walfway through the day we would split and do what we liked best. Well, we didn't even have matching shirts!! :rotfl: The majority could speak english very well, we did not sing or chant the whole day, and never cutted any lines! Everyone in the group were close friends, and I couldn't see any of them doing anything like being rude or pushing little kids to get better spots during paredes.

I know that some groups can be very rude and annoying, but not all groups, and not all brazilians are like that!

Anyway.. "Brazilian season" at WDW is just July.

It could have been worded differently, most every thing can be worded differently, but it wasn't. Does anyone know the answer? Oh, and IMO the Brazilian teen tour groups ARE a pain and I think they do affect other people's vacation.

It's kinda funny. The OP was not looking for a debate on political correctness. Does anyone know when the Brazillian tourist groups leave the area?:rolleyes1

I'm not going to debate this issue; there are MANY threads on the Brazlians that visit and others feelings. OP, I'd search for those threads to get your answer. Good luck.

They go home just like everyone else......when their vacation is over.

However, if you meant to ask when is the typical Brazillain holiday the answer is there is a 3 week winter break in July, and the school term ends in December, summer.

Interesting...We actually always see the large teenage tour groups in January. We assume they were from Brazil because the guides carried Brazilian flags...

Wow there's a season when the park is packed with physically fit, tanned, people with Portugeuse accents and very minimalistic in the way of clothing??? Why was I not aware of this and why would I want it to end?

I answered it already!

Good question, PatsFan.

Not sure why some feel the need to get their shorts in a twist over the question - if you are OK with going when the Brazilian tour groups are there, feel free to do so. Others, myself included, having been when they are there, prefer not to do so. This may have been what PatsFan was looking for info on, so they would know when NOT to go, to avoid the groups they DIDN'T want to run into. I, for one, agree with PatsFan - I'm sure others do to, just as I'm sure others could care less.

Either way, if you have an answer post it. If you only want to complain about how un-PC you thought the question was, do us all a favor and don't.

Summer vacation in Brazil is December-January, sometimes including the end of November or the beginning of February.

The tour groups go in January too, but from what I've seen, there are more groups in July then January.
