When do schools breakup in US?

Here in Michigan school gets out June 15 and the go back the day after Labor Day (beginning of Sept.). We have several snow days built into our school calendar so we don't have to worry about making them up!

In Maryland it depends what county you are in. Anne Arundel County ends June 14th(for the elementary school I work atfor repairs) and June 15th for the rest of the students. June 3rd for graduating seniors. I CAN'T WAIT FOR SCHOOL TO BE OVER AND IT TO BE SUMMER BECAUSE WE LEAVE FOR DISNEY ON THE 15TH OF JUNE

The last day of public school in Southern NJ is June 15th.

Catholic schools in SO. Jersey are done Wednesday, June 13th.

My kids finished Wed, May 23rd, going next weekend for SWW !
We start back August 13th. Thank goodness all the schools here have Air conditioning! Now the high school I went to in Mississippi did not have AC, it was brutal .

My girls (we live in Alabama) got out yesterday...May 24. In the fall, they will start back August 9th...later than last year's August 4th. I hate the kids starting back to school so soon because it is ssooo hot in the south! But, we also get a week off for fall break so that's when we are off to visit the mouse!
