When did you stop calling your dog a puppy?

Our doggie is 2yrs and we still call her a puppy!!!
She is a Yorkie and she is so little so she's still a puppy to us!


I guess after 1yr. they are no longer puppies.

I had him fixed so he'd never want to move out.

My puppy, Boo, will turn 1 this month and my ds was asking me if he was still going to be a puppy after he turned 1. I told him I hoped so.

Well, my parents' previous Shih Tzu died at I think 14, and she was still called a puppy.

Their current puppy is 5 years old and still a puppy.

My Scottie boy is 8 and is still "Puppy Mac." Got him as a pup. Funny thing is that our female rescue came to us as an adult. We don't call her "puppy." But she is the princess.

LOL! I think they'll always be a puppy to us, but I think the adult dog food kicks in at 1 year.

Mine's more of a puppy at 4 than he was when he was little. We call him puppy all the time.

We called our first baby our puppy until she died at 13. Boy do I miss her. We got a new puppy now 8 months and wow I forgot what it was like to have a puppy.
