Is there just the 6% Florida tax to buy tix at the resorts, or is there extra? I can buy tix in Delaware (no sales tax) and that could save some serious money...thanks!

The sales tax in Florida on tickets is 6%. I believe that the 6% FL sales tax is charged, regardless of where you buy the tickets, except for military installations. I know in Alabama, even the state/county/local tax came to 8.5%, the Disney Store charged us only 6%, because they said they have to charge FL sales tax on the admission media.

Hey, I would call the Disney Store in Delaware and ask them anyway - it can't hurt, and the rules may be different now.

A few dollars here, a few dollars there, pretty soon you have enough for a bottle of Coke in the Magic Kingdom!!

I used to work at the Disney store and no matter where in the country you buy the tickets, you will be charged Florida sales tax...
