When buying extra points from MS to complete a reservation...

What is the policy? Is it up to 24 pts a year? Is it a once a year opportunity? Also, is it per contract or per membership? By the way, good morning!

24 is correct, it's once per use year and they cannot be banked or borrowed.

I believe it is set up so that it's once per membership, not contract. If you have more contracts under different membership numbers you can purchase up to 24 points per use year for those separately.

Yep, this is correct . We had to do this for our January trip....It was very easy and they just charge your credit card.

but remember, you can only do this at the 7 month booking window.

Also, these points cannot be used for a wait list reservation. I have used these points twice - once to add a night at HHI last year while we were there when I was one point short. Also, this year when we added three nights to a Christmas 2011 stay at WLV I was three points short. This really saves some dollars as the extra night would have been on cash otherwise and the remaining points banked. I think this is a tremendous service even though it can only be used once per use year even if you use less than 24.
