When buying clothes/accessories for yourself...

...are there any colours that you NEVER choose, either because you don't like them or they never suit you?

I never buy anything RED, bright neon colours like LIME GREEN. I don't have anything white apart from some underwear.

I'm also not keen on bold and fancy patterns.

How about you?

I very rarely buy anything in stripes. I prefer solid colors.

LOL! Today I decided to wear a RED shirt! It's the first RED shirt I've worn in yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeears! RED has always made me feel like a hippopotamus. LOL! I guess I've finally lost enough weight to not feel that way. RED feel great today!

I don't wear stripes or little floral prints. Hate the floral prints period unless maybe it's pretty, large cabbage roses. I have one shirt like that and LOVE it! No poka dots either. Ha! Do they even make things with those? No plaid!!!

Even though I like the color pink, I never buy pink clothes because I know I'll never wear them. And no flowery or frilly stuff. Also no aqua, chartreuse, or pale yellow. Mostly dark colors for me.

I absolutely cannot wear yellow. Period. I don't look very good in white, either, so I don't own much of that.

I like to wear bold colors or black. I don't wear pastels or yellow as a rule. I had my colors done years ago (remember when that was the thing to do) and I am a winter.

I don't usually wear neons - mainly pastels, or basic colors like red. I looooove red.

I love red. It works really well with lots of neutrals like black, brown and tan. I one color I won't wear is yellow. It just looks horrible on me. I also don't like how pastels look. I generally stick with neutrals accented with bold colors.

I rarely buy anything red or green and up until recently didn't own anything brown either! Now I have one brown mock turtle neck!

I like pretty much all colors, I just don't usually wear prints of any sort except maybe soft ditsy patterns on a very rare occassion.

I stay away from yellow and brown. I used to buy a lot of pastels when I was younger, but now I am more into brights and primaries.

Orange (because I don't like it) and green (because it looks bad on me). Have you looked at spring clothes? Everything is pink and black - DD and I love it!

I don't look good in "earth tones"(khaki,olive green,browns,grays,mustard)near my face. I look better in colors...most pastels and all jewel tones

I don't wear red. It makes me look sickly pale. I also don't wear extremely bright colors, like neons, because I simply don't want to be that noticable. I'll wear little touches of bright colors, but I would never buy a solid, neon blouse or anything like that.

Most of my clothes coordinate with khaki, olive green, or navy. You can go into my closet with your eyes closed and pick out a top and some pants, and about 90% of the time they'll go together.

I don't do well with very light pastels, but the only color I stay totally away from is orange. I look like death warmed over in that. The only brown I can wear is chocolate brown, nothing orangy.
As for the season, I'm a dark summer. I look best in medium toned cool colors.

Do you know, I don't think polka dots have been around since the eighties, have they? I used to wear a polka dot blouse complete with the ribbon that you tied into a bow at the neckline. Very Princess Diana! I also had a long maxi dress too.

...and I forgot about plaid - just not me at all!
