When at OKW are you more inclined...

We rarely have a car with us when we are at WDW, even when we are at OKW.

Prefer to park and leave it except hen traveling off property.

Always do busses to a park, unless we're combining a meal at a resort with a couple hours at a nearby park, and then we drive and valet park. We don't do anything different when stay at OKW. But we spend most of our time at VWL or OKW, so we're used to the busses.

I believe the only times we've been in a theme park parking lot in 20 years is once in AKL and this spring in Epcot when DH had to be there early for his Segway tour and didn't want to take any chances on not being on time. (But we almost always drive to resorts and DD)

Yep...it is sooooo easy. We take the bus too....depends on our mood.

We drive to parks from all the DVC resorts -- except parks within walking distance like from BWV to Epcot or if we have boat or monorail access.

Always take our car to all parks. Even MK, where we're in no hurry to get in and stop for a fine breakfast at Kona before we even head to the park.
When leaving, we have the option (in a car) to go other places instead of directly back to OKW. Often we'll stop for a game of miniature golf, or go to DD for a little shopping before we head back to OKW.

Shan, we usually take the buses to the parks because they are generally quite good. In certain cases we have taken the car. If the weather is threatening we'll sometimes drive, or if we are going to leave a park and go to a resort for lunch or dinner we will drive. But the buses really do get you "closer" than parking. When my Mom is with us and using her scooter, we often drive because it embarasses her to have the bus of people wait while the thing is loading (even though I have told her this is OK!). She has a handicapped tag so when Mom is with us we often drive. But do TRY the bus system when you go down -- I think you'll find it quite convenient!

We have a car - but we take the bus to the parks. I would rather deal with getting on a bus to go home than doing the tram to the car and then waiting in line to get out.

We almost always drive to the parks. Generally speaking, you can't beat the time it takes. During our August visit driving from SSR only took us about 10 minutes to drive over to AK. Parking went quickly and we just hopped on one of those trams that take you right to the gate. ( When the parks are crowded, I like the car even better - no crowded bus to try to find a seat on. )
The only park I don't like to drive to is MK. We either take the bus, or start our day at Epcot and take the monorail over to MK for a while.....days like that we just play it by ear. :earsboy:

Busses ALWAYS (pretty much) to MK

Busses usually to Epcot and MGM

Drive to AK, BB and TL.

We never drive to the parks, as we've found over the course of a couple of dozen trips that the Disney transportation is usually quite efficient. The prospect of saving 5 or 10 minutes while travelling to-from parks is of no value to us. The only time we drive is to another resort for dinner so we don't have to transfer busses at parks or at Downtown Disney. ( unfortunately resort to resort travel can make for a very LONG trip on the busses... )
