When Are The Sales?

Since we're going to WDW in January, I'm planning on giving my kids a bunch of stuff that they'll need for the trip for Xmas. Things like bathing suits, beach towels, t-shirts, sunglasses, etc - Disney themed, of course.

When should I look for sales on this stuff? Doesn't need to be the Disney Store, I know Target carries a lot of Disney stuff, etc.

Right now the Disney stores and Disney online are doing the twice upon a year sale. they have all swim and towels and lots of toys. I don't know about Target though.

Every time you're out. You'll find a little here and a little there... the REAL budget trick is knowing when to say "enough."

You could also check your local dollar stores. They often have different Disney things that you might want to get.

I would check the clearance racks at Target every time that you go. They are constantly marking stuff down. Target also has coupons on the target.com website. They had a 15% off kids apparel item on there recently. The shirts sometimes go on sale too. Every bit helps.

CVS also usually has disney stuff. They will be starting their summer clearance, then it goes as high as 75-90% off. It's hit or miss though, usually happens more towards Sept.

I think our Target started clearancing out summer stuff right after 4th of July last year, carrying on periodically through Labor day. And Disney store was in that same time frame, with good prices over 4th of July and Labor Day weekend.

Disney store also usually has their t-shirts on sale for Black Friday, so since you're not going until January, you have the option of waiting for that sale as well.
