When are extra magic hours posted?

We are planning our trip and Im wanting to take advantage of EMH, but when will they be posted?

Also do they change often?

They are posted the same time as park hours. Generally Sundays have Hollywood Studios morning EMH, Mondays have Animal Kingdom morning EMH, Tuesdays have Epcot Evening EMH, Wednesdays have Magic Kingdom Evening EMH, Thursdays have Epcot Morning EMH, Fridays have Magic Kingdom morning EMH, and Saturdays have Animal Kingdom morning EMH.

Park hours are released on a 180 day rolling calendar.
EMH are put on that calendar.
EMH generally are not taken away but more can certainly be added.
Park hours do often get extended about 3-6 weeks out.

So by Fastpass selection day 60 days out it should be safe to bank on no EMH changes

So by Fastpass selection day 60 days out it should be safe to bank on no EMH changes

Not nessecarily since the calendar is generally updated 3 to 6 weeks out.
But generally speaking EMH is certain days of the week for each park so unless park hours are extended or it's a busy time of the year like Christmas EMH should stay pretty steady.

While not all that common for EMHs already on the calendar to move/change, it CAN happen (even in your 60 day window), so I’d recommend keeping an eye on the park calendar every once in while prior to your trip just in case (which is a good idea to do anyway for park hours, show times, etc).
