When and where to get the best discounts?

I want to book a few nights at the poly for Jan 2003......will I get a better deal if I book as early as possible or as late as we can? Who generally offers the best discounts? Also, what do people think is the best garden view building?

If you book a room at the Poly now, for Jan., 2003, you will pay rack rate. It's almost certain, that later this year, discounts will be available for the Poly and other WDW resorts for 2003. Just keep an eye on these boards and/or www.mousesavers.com and it will be announced when the discounts will come out. If you want to make ressies now, you could then change to the discounted rate when it is available.
