What the cost of wheelchair rental at DL?

They are $12/day. You also have to provide a $20 deposit which is returned to you 100% upon returning the wheelchair.

You can take it between the 2 parks, but not into DtD.

You can take it into DTD and even back to your hotel (DLR hotel atleast). When you sign up for more than 1 day you can fill out a loan agreement that you show to the security guards at the bag checks who will let you pass.

Thanks for adding this. Great to know. We only rented it for 1 day and were not staying on-site so we were not allowed beyond security. For the OP's benefit, do you know if a larger deposit is required to take it beyond security as you described above?

No same $20 deposit, but I think they need a credit card on file.. I forget exactly. On our last trip we had 2 wheelchairs in our group. In the GCH rooms they fit fine in the area fronting the sink. Only 1 in each room. 2 wheelchairs in a room will be really cramped.

Thanks for answering this question. Do you have to get there super early to secure one or is there ample supply all day?

Also do they give you a price break if you rent longer than one day?
