Planning on getting at IOA about 7:00, wheelchair rental is inside the park? Are they open early also? does it take long to rent? Hate to get up early just to stand in line to get a wheelchair and then miss getting into WWOHP early and being stuck in longer lines!

I'm pretty sure the wheelchair rental is before Citywalk near the parking garages.

Not sure when it opens though.

Are you staying on-site?

We stayed at RPR and one in our group rented a motorized scooter right at the Concierge Desk in the lobby. Not sure if they manual ones or not though.

We also stopped by the desk that's at the entrance of the CW parking garage to price the manual ones. FYI: If you rent a manual there, you can pay the difference and rent a motorized one in the park if you find you need it (and if there are some left).

Staying off site, what is the CW parking garage? Will be renting a manual one... is it much of a walk from where you park to where you can rent a manual one? How long does it take you to get from the parking garage to the front gate?

thanks!

CW=City Walk

Sorry...I've never parked in the park garage (only Royal Pacific's & CW's) so don't know if there's a place to rent there. But the walk isn't that much from the CW garages & is easy.

I imagine there's wheechair rental at the park Guest Services though and I estimate may be about a 15 min. slow walk.

If the person needing the WC can't do a lot of walking, parking in CW & renting from the station just inside the pass-through (where the vendors & bathrooms are) will be convenient for you.

The wheelchair rentals that are inside both parks, do not open early. The wheelchair rentals in Citywalk are open before the ones inside the park but I'm not sure how much earlier they are open. The CW rentals are in the rotunda area that you will pass through on your way from parking to go to the parks.
