What's your special plans for tonight?

We're not into going out to dinner on Valentine's or any other day. Dinner will be pizza in and watching a tape of today's Nascar truck race.

We exchanged cards this morning and I got a dozen red roses on Wednesday night. It's the things he does all 365 days of the year that I love about him not just on the 14th of February.

Grr, I wish I had special plans! Instead I'm sitting for this kid across the street who I don't really care for while his mother, who I also do not care for, but to a much greater degree, goes out on a date with a man she calls "the richest, ugliest man in the city."

But my roommate left some Hershey's Kisses with almonds on my desk

GP...I'll trade ravioli recipes.....


We're having homemade lobster and roasted red pepper w/ asiago ravioli (those are two different ravioli), homemade BAM bread, a nice bottle of Shariz, we'll all be dining by candlelight in the dining room.
I've made fresh chocolate dipped cannoli for dessert.

THEN.............DH and I will watch about 4 episodes for the Sopranos...........

I most likely am going out with all my single friends to dinner...but one guy has a major toothache, and one girl is in the hospital...

We went out to dinner Wednesday night. Tonight DH is going to a Umass hockey game with DS12 and DD. I got roses yesterday at school, and he also brought 2 dozen donuts for my students as a surprise snack

Chris and I are going out to dinner then a movie. Not much romance tonight though as Devyn will be with us. No problem though, we'll have tomorrow night to ourselves!!!

Dh and I will be staying in tonight with my Granny. She is fixing meatloaf. DH and I will go out to eat tomorrow sometime.
DH got me a card, a stuffed Snoopy that makes kissing noises, and a bag of peanut m & m's and Sweet Home Alabama DVD

my boss got me tulips (she gave all the ladies flowers)

We celebrated Valentine's day on Wednesday night. We didn't want to deal with the crowds tonight and tomorrow, and DH was out of town on Thursday night.

We went to dinner at the Melting Pot...it's a fondue restaurant. It was the neatest experience! The food was really good, too!

Well, since my DW is getting for hip replacement surgery on Feb 24th, we did not plan anything special for this year. My DW is in so much pain it is hard for her to get around. My DW is a young 48, will be 49 on 3/3/03, but her left hip is full of arthritis. Today we went to pick up a few things from the store(big snowstorm headed our way), then I had to take DW to the hospital for pre-admission tests. After getting poked and prodded we came home and had a very simple dinner, then DW went in to lay down.

Our DD 12 has a friend spending the night, so I guess, I will be here on the boards the rest of the evening while DW rests and DD entertains her friend.

I'm glad I have these boards to keep me company!!!

We're putting the kids to bed and I'm making dinner. Here's the menu...

Filet Mignon
Twice Baked Mashed Potatoes (Hubby's Favorite)
Shoepeg Corn in a butter sauce (He only likes corn...ugh!)

Chocolate dipped Strawberries, Banana, & Poundcake for dessert. I got these great long stemmed strawberries that are really yummy. I can't wait to get these munchkins to bed!

To top it all off Chris got a new haircut that really looks great. We don't get to go out but that is okay, we'll have a nice time anyway.

Roger's working and I get the kids in the morning. My big plans with him were last night and it was wonderful. My big plans with my kids are tomorrow during the day.

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone

My OH So Painful Valentine's DAy

Yesterday while looking for some yogurt in my refridgerator, I hit my head really really hard. OUch Next thing I knew dh was picking me up off the floor How long I was out I have no idea. I was rushed to ER, and after hours of test after test and being poked for blood work I was diagnosed with a concussion and slight bruising of the brain(I still can't believe it).

Everyone wants me to stay in bed but I'm bored out of my mind. Dh and my mom are giving me the evil eye. They think I should be in bed resting. I tired of resting

I'm still in a lot of pain, and since I can't keep anything down, the doc prescribed my pain pills are in the shape of mini bullets.
My head feels like someone hit me with a sledgehamme. My equilibrium (i hope i spelled it right) is way off. To top it off somehow I missed the last two steps and fell flat on my face so the pain 4x's as bad.

We had ressies for the Sybaris this weekend, but due to me having (as the doc described it as a MINOR CONCUSSION/ BRUISING OF THE BRAIN) we had to cancel

Even though my Valentines Day is a painful one, I really can't complain. Valentine's day is 365 days a year for me
