What's your most magical memory from the World?

It was nighttime in EPCOT and my then eight year old son with autism was 'skipping' on the lighted sidewalk. To see my child who does not show any emotion skipping - brought joy to my heart.

What a wonderful post for your very first one! And welcome to the boards!

My favorite memory...last summer our first family trip with my dh and 4 kids...
We had to battle my ex in court to be "allowed" to go - he had put a "stay of vacation" request in... :scared1: another story for another time...

Anywho... My ds7 was complaining on the 1st morning leaving POR for MK, "Why are we up so early, why can't we go in yet, this is boring" etc. etc.
I wanted to kill him, all the money we spent all the court appearances... For him to complain!?!? And then..... the train pulls into the station and he is literally screaming and jumping up and down waving to Pluto.... It melted my heart and forget about his "episode"....:)

My favorite memory from the first trip as a family...
My son is a HUGE star wars fanatic from birth. he knew about Star Tours from my stories and stories from his older cousins but he'd never understood how big the AT AT in front would be. So our first day at WDW we flew in, checked in at CBR and went straight to The studios. My husband trained the video camera on our son as we made our bee line for the Star tours ride. The look on his face was priceless. After he rode ST as he was exiting Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper made an appearance. He was in heaven.

On our 2nd day of our first trip to Disney (just a month ago) we were waiting in line to see Chip and Dale, my DD's favorites. She had a Chip and Dale stuffed animal that she just bought, and a CM playing a guitar came up to us in line and started talking to dd. He asked her what her name was and asked her if she wanted to here a song? Of course she said yes,( she is also very into guitars, we bought her one to take lessons.) Well, I have it all on video, he started singing a song with her name in it and how she had a Chip and Dale and how she was on her famous Disney World trip with her Family. I am crying right now typing it, it was absolutely AMAZING!! We'll never forget it.

My son Aidan :thumbsup2 He is my Disney souvenir. I couldn't ask for a better memory. Conceived when I was told I couldn't conceive. I have so many other more traditional memories, but this is the first thing that came to mind when I read the thread's title.

I selfishly thought of "my" most magical Disney moment instead of one from my kiddos. While the boys went to Ohana, the girls went to CRT. I knew there was a picture with Cinderella, but I was unprepared for the rush of emotion I felt when I saw her. I was near tears myself waiting for my dd's picture. It was at that moment that I realized I had been completely sucked in to the phenomenon otherwise known as Disney!:love::love::love:

Watching DS 9 (who was DS3 at the time) havin' a ball playing in the Mickey Shaped water spouts outside of Once Upon a Toy...he was so not dressed for it...and was totally soaked...but he was just having sooo much fun.
