What's your middle name?

Mine is Leisel. My mother took it from Liesl in The Sound of Music. She just changed the spelling and the pronunciation a little. It's said Leesell.

Lynn. My mom took one of the most common first names of the time, and then paired it with one of the most common middle names.

I know for a fact I am not the only Jenny Lynn on this board... (although I am NOT Jennifer)

That's my first name. :goodvibes My middle name is Michelle.

We were going to use Lauren for her first name. We couldn't decide between Lauren Nicole or Nicole Lauren. We felt Nicole Lauren flowed better. My SIL had a baby yesterday and named her Lauren.

Mine is Emma. I was named after my Mom's grandma.

My Mom's is Victoria which is my first name.

My son's is James(after DH and FIL)

My daughter's is Lindsey after my Mom and Grandma(my Mom's maiden name)

Mine is Renee. My mom's middle name is Nancy, which is my first name. Mom was named after both her grandmothers (Mary Nancy), so when I was born they joked about naming me after my grandmothers--Purnella Cordelia. ;)

My DD's is Regan (with a long e) We just liked it with her name--Emma.

Elizabeth - I was born in the year of Queen Elizabeths silver jubilee.

/
Cassandra. I was named after a witch from the TV show, "Dark Shadows".

My middle name is Deon. It is also my mother's middle name. My grandmother gave her that name in honor of her (my grandmother's) two brothers, Leon and DeWayne. I am not sure if I will use it if I ever have a daughter. DS is named after a family friend, so kept his middle name Thomas.

Tricia

Sue

I was supposed to be "Peggy Sue" - Dad was a BIG Buddy Holly fan, but my grandma somehow convinced my parents to change my first name to Sandra.

I grew up the the era of the middle names of Sue, Lee, Jean, Ann, Lynn, etc.

My middle name is Lee--after my grandfather's middle name. I like it--after all, I could have been Amy George (his first name!).

Dd's middle name is Elizabeth--my mom's middle name and her grandmother's middle name. I like that it skips every other generation.

DH doesn't have a middle name. His mother didn't know she was having twins so DH got Alexander and his brother is Stephen. She had 4 boys, I think she was tired of picking out names. :teeth: Luckily, Alexander has a lot of syllables so it flows nicely when I'm annoyed with him.

Used to be Angelica. I never liked it, even before that hideous little child from Rugrats was born.

Now its my maiden name.

mine is Renne'
dd is Paige (just love that name)

named ds after my dad and grandfather and great grandfather = Thomas
