What's your maximum acceptable wait time...

There are only a few rides that I will get in a standby line for with a wait longer than 40ish minutes.

We usually go during the summer. 40-45 is our maximum.

Generally 20 minutes. But I'd probably go up to 45 minutes, max, for some headliners (Midway Mania comes to mind).

Notably, I have stayed in line in excess of 4 hours at Cedar Point for a headlining ride.

I generally try and keep it to 15m or less, with a upper limit of about 30min for posted times.

In general we hit one park for RD, finish scheduled rides by noon or so, then either hang out and snack, shop, and stroll to shows in the afternoon, or hop to another park to do the same. Invariable we end up in the World showcase every night (staying at Boardwalk).

With 6 park days booked we can easily do this, and relax all afternoon and evening, works out great. Mornings are a brisk pace, but totally worth it.

15minutes max wait time
20 minutes if it is a really good attraction and nothing else to do
go really early or really wait ...then you never have to wait!

30 minutes max if standing. Anything beyond that and I start get pain from medical issues, and I hate using a wheelchair or ECV.

On a normal day: 20, maybe 25 minutes (for a special event I'd go longer, but I would be in a lot of pain). I struggle to stand for long periods of time, as I get severe back and leg pain (plus last week I had a horrible heat rash which made my legs even more painful). We vetoed everything with a line longer than 20 minutes, and found another time to do it when the wait was shorter.

I think we'd planned our FP+ well too, and travelled at a quieter time to try and help, but yeah, I can't physically stand for much longer than that without being able to sit down (as MCO tried to prove when we left- worst queue we'd been in all week. So much pain!)

It used to be 30 minutes but now that I'll be going less often, it'll probably be an hour.

It also depends on the ride - test track 30 minutes max - peter pan I'd wait an hour for that classic but I'd probably have FP so it'll be a moot point. LOL

For characters - if it's someone I've never seen before or a rare character I'll stand in line for as long as I feel like - an hour or two maybe.

All others - 30 minutes.

Probably 20 minutes under most circumstances, but up to 45 or so if it's a headliner or something I won't get another chance to ride during my trip.

I don't like to go much over 20 but I will say 30 minutes is my max unless it is a BIG attraction like TSM, soarin, or one of the mountains. Then I'll go as high as 45 if I have no other options.

Some of you are very patient, 15 to 20 minutes and that is stretching it. The exception being the the shows ; Lion King, Tough to be a bug that seem to take forever to get in.

20-30 minutes tops.....unless it's something really special. Like I'm pretty sure I'll stand with my daughter in line to see Anna and Elsa the very first time for an hour (because I can't get a FP+ and I am SO OVER trying). Because, sometimes, some things are just worth it. Those are very few and far between.

30 mins. That said, we waited in line for only 3 things for more than 20 mins our trip Christmas 2012 with legacy FP. That was Tink (my youngest DD was dressed as tink post BBB and we wanted the photo op) - 45mins. Dinosaur 50 mins (FP return times at that moment were for nearly 2 hours in the future- we were leaving AK after Dinosaur so we didnt want to wait around for another 2 hours. And Enchanted Tales with Belle - 50 mins. The worst wait BY FAR was Dinosaur. Egads that great big room was sooooo boring. I wanted to bail so bad, but after you've been in line 20 mins one feels committed. ha.

Im wondering about our Christmas 2014 trip with new FP. Im afraid our time limit for lines will run smack in to lines longer than our will even with FP+ reservations and our rope drop/late night strategy. :confused3:crazy2:

I don't think I've stood in a line over 30 minutes since my ds13 was born. We make sure to FP+ any that are likely to get long or arrive at opening to ride before they get long. The last three trips we've also had the GAC/DAS to use in conjunction with the FP.

I won't wait longer than 30 minutes for anything and then I would have to REALLY want to ride/see it.

We are in the been there done that and know we are coming back mode that we don't spend a lot of time in lines.

Our maximum is 30 minutes. Will therefore use FP+ and rope drop to access the headliner attractions that are know for have hour long lines in the summer :)

Longest I've waited was 80 minutes for soarin. We didn't make rope drop and all the fastpasses were gone. It was either wait or nothing. I really wanted to ride so we waited. Depends on the ride. The que. And my mood. Lol
