What's your maximum acceptable wait time...

Depends on the ride. Just about everything at MK I'd say 20 minutes tops except for the mountains which I'll wait up to 45 minutes for. If it's a really great new attraction, I'll give it up to 100 minutes...the FIRST time only. Disney hasn't done one of those in years, but I did it for both of the main Harry Potter attractions when they were brand new. Last time I remember waiting that long for something at Disney was when Test Track first opened.

Big kid rides (ToT, RnR, the Mountains, etc): 60 minutes

Easy rides (JC, PotC, HM, Star Tours): 30 minutes

I waited once for 40 minutes for Soarin. I will not wait for anything longer than 20-25 minutes anymore. I can't stand that long.

It depends on the type of year, time of day, and ride.

My maximum for 9:30am on a Thursday in early September for HM would only be about 15 minutes but I'd expect 5-10. But a 2:00pm on a Saturday on a Spring Break for the same ride, I'd expect it to be a lot more. Though it's been 9 years since I've been during spring break so I don't really remember.

Also, what I expect for HM is very different from what I expect for Peter Pan so while my maximum for HM is 15, my maximum for PP is probably 30.

It also depends on what the ride queue is. I hate the queue for The Movie Ride and I never want to wait more than 10 minutes for that, whereas I don't mind the queue for EE so I can handle a 45 minute wait.

I waited 2 hours for Soarin once and it was a miserable 2 hours. I would cap out at about 45 minutes

30 minutes for me, which is why waiting ~75 for TSMM this morning nearly pushed me over the edge.

I would say an hour and half for me, if its something i REALLY want to ride (ToT, RnRC, Test Track) I'd go 2 hours.

Im used to six flags wait times, so i might be a bit skewed (seems like all rides there are at least an hour all the time!!)

We generally go mid-August, just after the southern schools are back in session and just before the northern schools start. For rides with inside queues, we'll wait 30-40 minutes. For outside queues, we'll wait no longer than 20-30 minutes, depending on the time of the day. It's all relative to the weather.

That's why we got the Flash Pass at Six Flags..cost us like 35 bucks each and saved us HOURS of waiting. The longest we waited was 5 minutes. We were able to ride the coasters multiple times all day.

To go to Disney and spend 2 hours in line would be a waste of my money/time. There is so much to do. I just go during slow times and plan my day out accordingly. It's very rare that I have a wait longer than 20 mins.

yeah I hear ya. I never actually had to wait on a line that long at Disney (Maybe Soarin once?) but if it was a ride i was dying to go on, i would be willing to wait. I try to go during slow times, and hit attractions during Parades/Fireworks. :cool1:

I don't like to wait but some rides like Space Mtn or Toy Story Mania I love so I'd bite the bullet and wait 45 to an hour if needed

Less than an hour is my sweet spot. But now that FP+ Is fully operating for all guests, I am not sure. But in Feb--that still worked for us.

30-60 minutes. We are fortunate to be able to go 2-3 times a year and what we dont hit one trip we make a priority for the next trip.

Up to 30 minutes is preferable but we have waited up to 60 minutes when Tink and friends first appeared on toon town, my DD was desperate !

25-30 minutes typically. We did wait 40 minutes to see Santa Mickey at AK on our first November trip.

Just from glancing at every post it seems 30 minutes is the general # posted and most everyone posted 20 minutes to 45 minutes.
