I bowled a 300 in the 5th grade and have never bowled again because I could never do it again.

My one and only high game was a 242. I was 19 years old and in a league with my mom. When I went over 200, other ladies came over and started watching me. I got so nervous, I almost threw the ball into another lane! My average, at the time, was 130. It was a total fluke. I think the lane had grooves or something!

I rolled a 242 on my final exam during college.
Someone was using the ball I had used all semester, the only one that fit my hand was too heavy-that's the one I used for the score.

And yes-bowling was a credited class during my college years in 1991.

When I was in jr high my sister and I bowled a lot on weekends. I think my high score then was 170, maybe. Now when I bowl I am happy to break 100 . I can only bowl two games max or my fingers hurt. I am such a baby.

Oh, you are soooo me! I am so excited to be going bowling this afternoon! See my post a few back and note my sarcasm. lol! This is really just for a Mom's chat. The kids will be doing the real bowling. We've found a family friendly bowling alley with comfortable chairs and great snacks! One of the other mothers will throw my balls down the lane. She's stressed and needs to bowl. hey, that's what she said!

Here I was thinking - 86, that's not too shabby. My highest was 36! I do not bowl.
