Away in a Manger for me

My DD's schools have been singing it to a new arrangement this year which is so lovely.

They have also been doing this with The Holly and The Ivy.

i would have voted for the song the choir sings in the film " Home Alone" but i have no idea what it's called

'Away in a Manger' for me this year. I gave a friend a lift the other day and when Molly was singing it full pelt in her ear she explained to her that it was a lullaby and should be be sung softly

'But my teacher said it had to be loud and clear!' came the reply

It was loud and clear at their Nativity play and was so beautiful.

I love Away in a Manger, it always brings a tear to my eye - especially when children sing it

I had tears in my eyes this afternoon, when I had 60 Yr 1 children murdering this carol - they were so flat. I think their minds were on tomorrows christmas party !!!
