Cambria Hotel Rebranding

Because this is a popular hotel with families, I’m giving a heads up that it’s rebranding to “Anaheim Suites Hotel.” They’re placing banners on the signage, so looks like an 11th hour change..

I saw a Facebook post about guests finding notices when they woke up this morning.

They are likely franchised and did not renew their agreement with Choice Hotels. This could be the result of a sale or they may be pursuing different branding within the industry. It's not uncommon for a hotel to go independent for a short time, while they prepare to take on a different franchise agreement and make all of the necessary changes. The hotels near Disneyland are all well positioned to operate independently or as a franchise. The location makes them pretty profitable!

*Note, I do work for Hilton, and Choice is a competitor. I have no knowledge of their operations, but am only stating common industry precedent.
