Bird/Animal watching. I love the wildlife that you see around the hotels, DTD and the parks.

I also love to sit on the gliders at the beach across from the YC/BC and just gaze across the water.

One night a few years ago we spent the evening with DH and my cousins celebrating our wedding anniversary at Jelly Rolls. They headed back to our resort a little earlier than us and when we left there wasn't a body in sight.

Just strolling down the boardwalk at 2am with my DH and watching all the twinkling lights from the water was something I'll never forget. There was so much to see and not a sound or a human anywhere except us. It was so nice.

And then on our drive back to Cypress Pointe we spotted "Bambi" casually eating grass along the side of the road. It was a really nice night to remember.

I have never taken the time to actually take a break and swim at the different Resort's pools. Next time I am making it a point to take a mid-day break and go swimming.

I love to walk at night in Downtown Disney. It's so different at night around Disney. I love just to walk around and take my time and take everything in at night. I am going to have to try the Boardwalk by the sounds of this thread!!!

I would have to say swimming and relaxing by what ever Disney Resort we are stay in. We also like to do the water mice, try different Disney Resturants and shop at Downtown Disney!

So much of what I love about going to Disney World is doing things outside the parks. Here are some of my favorites:

Shopping at Downtown Disney

Renting a surrey bike on the BoardWalk

Touring different resorts and shopping in their gift shops

Exploring my resort

Watching the Electrical Water Pageant and the MK Fireworks from the Poly or GF

Having a leisurely dinner at a resort restaurant

Sitting in my resort room and just absorbing the fact that I'm at WDW

I am with everyone else who said PI - we love the AC and the Jazz Club after a dinner at either Wolfgang Puck's or HOB.

I don't know if this counts since it occurs at the parks, busses, monorails...everywhere....we love to meet people and enjoy hearing what a great time they are all having. We too like to ride the monrail for fun (a lot) and on our trip in '01, it was my b-day. We did not do a park that exact day, but rode the monorail about 8p.m. and when we got onto the car there was i other couple on it. We got to talking and found out the man we just met was celebrating HIS b-day also! The same exact day as mine, riding the monorail for fun like us...Lucky we had our camera with as we snapped a photo and have it for a keepsake. And to be the only ones on that car ....Mickey Magic at it's best! So interacting with others is our fav. pastime, and I also love to people watch..I always take an hour or so to myself at MK to sit near the castle and watch the families...I always end up crying at how much emotion I see in just a short time. And I am a better person for it If you are ever having an *off* day at WDW, take a few moments and enjoy the thrills of others, Best medicine I know of!

Ugh! This is making me wanna go back so much!

We LOVE mini golf at Winter/Summerland at Blizzard Beach.

Love touring other resorts ( to see where we wanna stay next time!)

Boat rentals!!

We like to hop in our car and visit the other resorts. I especially like to roam around AKL and WL, but we usually hit all of them at some point in our trip. Love to eat at Bomas or Artist Point, so that gives us reasons to explore those two resorts. We usually go to California Grill once, so roam around Contemporary then. We like to go over and listen to the jazz band at Grand Floridan and then walk from there to the Polynesian. We usually have one meal there at O'Hana. All of these have great places to watch Wishes from as well! Other than that, we like walking from our OKW resort to DTD, and return on the ferry.
