What's your favorite restaurant?

Kimya,

If you haven't dined at Barley and Hops, give them a try. Jason is an excellent chef. We miss them. My other fave in Frederick was Brown Pelican, and La Paz for mexican.

We're still looking for the local treasures around here. Had a great BBQ joint, but that one went away. Haven't been out for fine dining in a while, other than on WDW property.

There's this awesome family style place, Branch Ranch that we like. There's enough food for each person to eat for three days afterwards, so we only go once in a while.

Hey Suzanne!

We definitely like Barley & Hops too. Great food there. I'm not a beer drinker, so I go for the food, lol. We went to Brewer's Alley last week for my birthday and boy have they gone downhill! I hadn't been there in a few years and apparently there was a management turnover since. The food was bland and the service was TERRIBLE.

Brown Pelican is great too and La Paz is AWESOME. One of my good friend's BIL is a manager there, so we always seem to get good seats rather quickly. :teeth:

Bob Chin's Crabhouse, just north of Chicago in Wheeling.

The garlic rolls are incredible, and I love the dungeness crab! Plus, they serve huge Mai-Tai's ;)
I agree completely! Their sauteed scallops are wonderful! The garlic rolls are incredible, but wreak havoc on your love life ;)

When I was in VA, visiting friends, Hi SueEllen, we ate at this fun barbecue place called K & L, home cooking there too..

Is this in Hopewell, VA? If so, we LOVE this place. We usually end up there once a week. All 3 of us can eat well for $20 :teeth:

The 5 kosher restaurants that DH and I have dined in at Atlanta: BAGEL BREAK, CHAI PEKING, OFF BROADWAY CAFE, BROADWAY CAFE, AND PIZZA PALACE. :goodvibes I really look forward to our Atlanta trips just for the kosher eating and my scale will show that when I weigh myself later! Gotta get back in gear....TODAY!

If we are talking VERY LOCAL there is a place in Spring Hill Kansas called K & M barbeque that is great! If you are ever almost in Missouri, but still in Kansas you should really stop in if you love bbq! :thumbsup2

I love Chevy's salsa too! With Baja Fresh as a runner up! Yum, I could go and just eat chips and salsa! :teeth:
LOL! My dd used to do just that at Baja Fresh, well, minus the chips. When she was about 4, she didn't like anything on their menu but loved their pico de gallo. So, she'd just get a drink, a spoon and several cups of pico de gallo off the salsa bar and that'd be her meal. :lmao: :lmao:

(Is that as bad as making a side salad off the condiments bar?)

Have I mentioned Mary Mahoney's in Biloxi Miss.??????? lol :) :) :)
