What's your favorite "non" park thing to do?

MY FAVORITE THING TO DO OUTSIDE OF WDW, BESIDES UNIVERSAL IS:

THE TITANIC EXHIBIT!!! on I-Drive @the Mercado!!

AWESOME - not to be missed! thousands of artifacts from ship!

I enjoy browsing the resort shops, eating at resort restaurants, and checking out DTD

We love to swim in the resort pool, shop at DTD (mainly I like that! ), or check out the other resorts. There is actually so many other things to do down there in addition to the parks. We can't wait to do more "non park" things in December! (not that we don't love the parks...we do! )

Our trips have always been Commando Style and I have promised my DH that I would spend plenty of time outside the parks.

We are looking forward to

Pony rides/petting zoo at F.W.
Mini golf at WinterSummerland

and I have yet to shop at DD, looking at these responses that will now be a must do!

and maybe dinner at Whispering Canyon, haven't done that either.

Afternoon tea at Grand Floridian.... it's so peaceful and quiet and just nice.... it feels like a million miles from the Castle... I love it... it's a ritual... but hey, I'm British.

you'll love this- the calypso resort has free mini-golf! My kids love it too and I know will play more mini-golf than anything else! We'll be visiting in 3 weeks...
