One of my all time favorite movies is "So I Married An Axe Murderer" with Mike Myers (aka Shrek not as in Halloween movies)----but nobody I know has ever seen it

LOL -

Elvira - Mistress of the dark!

I also loved "Best in Show".

My all time fave is "Shawshank"...any time it's on TNT, I watch it.

My absolute favorite is an old Danny Kaye movie, "The Court Jester." I loved it growing up and still do! Of course I was going to marry Danny Kaye, so it is understandable!

That movie is a CLASSIC!!! Love it!!! ;) Very 90's!

Mine would have to be Frequency with Dennis Quaid and Jim Caviezel (from Passion of the Christ).

GREAT movie...didn't do well in the theaters - but an EXCELLENT rental! Love it - own it.

One of my favorite movies is Project X, with Matthew Broderick.

I love that movie & I keep wishing it would come out on DVD, no sure luck yet.
The good thing is I have an old VHS tape of it when it first came out, so at least I can watch it now & then :)

The Professional (or Leon, as it's called sometimes); it has Jean Reno, a young Natalie Portman, Gary Oldman, Danny Aiello; it's a real story about love, but not a love story. You have to see it to understand my meaning.

OK--stinkerbelle--I'm gonna netlix this one--I'm trusting you--but anyone who knows "So I Married......." is a classic, can't be wrong.

Monkeyboy--thanks for the quote---always good to find a "axe murderer" fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I totally agree about The Professional - my dh and caught a bit of that on cable the other day and we were both saying what a great movie it is.

I saw "In America" on a flight. Just terrific.

Victor/Victoria

and

The Turning Point (which is a ballet movie that I haven't seen in YEARS.)

One of my current faves is Big Trouble. LOVE that movie!!!
Some others that I can think of at the moment are Memento, Bend it Like Beckham, and Run Lola Run.

I agree with Shawshank and The Professional also!

Ok - but FYI...if you easily confuse...you could get lost.

My mother can't follow the "Back to the Future" movies with all the 'time travel'.

So if you can't follow a story like that...you MIGHT get lost. so just a heads up.

Plus - Jim Caviezel is a hotty!
